Everyone can have an "As You Go Ministry"
My husband and I were in full-time ministry for 31 years. When we retired from our staff pastor position it didn't mean we wouldn't minister to people anymore.
We found the ministry we had was an "as you go ministry." It was just being available to be a light in this world to anyone who needed an encouraging word, prayer, a hug, or just to take time to listen to them.
At the beginning of each week, we pray about people we need to call, make a home visit, take them out for a cup of coffee, or invite them over for dinner.
